The 2nd President of San Francisco-based Women Entrepreneurs, growing the organization from roughly 70 to over 370 members. She served as the Executive Editor and West Coast Manager of New York-based Enterprising Women Newsletter, the first national US publication for Women Business Owners. Her first book, Equal To The Task: How Working Women Are Managing in Corporate America, was published by Seaview Press (Harper&Row) in 1983. and she has spoken to dozens of groups nationwide on the subject of women in business. Ms. Easton earned both her BA in Religious Studies from the Santa Clara University and her Master's Degree in Theology from the University of San Francisco. Among her honors received, she was named Young Career Woman of the Year (1997), was awarded a Templeton Prize for a course she co-authored in science and theology, and was presented the Presidential Medal by the Gregorian University in Rome.
